RHS Stim/Recording Controller


Features
Supports all Intan  RHS headstages with sampling rates of 20, 25, or 30 kS/s.
All headstage channels can independently produce stimulation currents from ±10 nA to ±2.5 mA with ±7V compliance.
Biphasic or triphasic stimulation pulses are generated with timing resolution as fine as 33 μs.
Stimulation pulses are pre-configured in software and triggered by keypresses or digital inputs.
Independent ground isolation on each headstage port to reduce noise from ground loops.
Software supports in situ electrode impedance measurement.
Two analog input ports and two analog output ports with ±10V range.
Two digital input ports and two digital output ports.
Analog and digital inputs are recorded in sync with amplifier waveforms; may be used to trigger stimulation pulses or to control automated episodic recording sessions.
Optional I/O expander increases the number of auxiliary ports to 8 analog in, 8 analog out, 16 digital in, and 16 digital out.
May be mounted in standard 19" rack (1U) or operated from a bench top.

RHS Stim SPI Cable Adapter Board

The RHS Stim SPI cable adapter board (Part #M4430) connects to a Stim SPI cable and brings out all 16 power and data wires to 0.1" pitch solder holes for easy access. This board may be used to interface RHS Stim SPI cables with prototype devices. It may also be used to connect RHS Stim SPI signals to a commutator, as described in the application note, Adapting RHS Stim SPI cables to a commutator.
